| Kao-Ly Yang's Paintings : "The Art of Transparency" The Woman-Leaves "The Woman-Leaves" (la femme -feuilles) links the nature in women's growth: maturation goes with time and metamorphosis. There are two ways of change: according to season and to age. I compare woman's aging process with the leaves' fading. Both processes are similare: they pass from one age to another, invisible in the foret of human beings. They make difference in accomplishing insignificant actions. When we want to measure their footprint or contribution, we need to look at the overall to capture their impact. Mothers feed children whatever in food and in oxygen -- silently. No roots, no attach, the women are difficult to size, to understand because they are immobile, answer to the need in doing, thinking, waiting, living; Women are flexible like leaves that could fly everywhere, invisible; they travel light and fast. When the wind blows, heart and mind just move to another place, another house, another age. The strenght of a woman remains in her flexibility, ability to adapt and skills to metamorphosis.
