| Does the reinvention of Hmong traditionnal clothes by adding outfits borrowed from other cultures or by simplifying some aspects still maintain Hmong identity? Is there any 'PURE' culture, e.g. a culture without any borrowed aspects from other cultures or societies? Or should we learn to be more aware of the culture as the outcome of processes of borrowing from different cultures in given places and given times? Est-ce que l'invention des costumes hmong empruntant à d'autres cultures d'autres traitis matériels ou en simplifiant des aspects peut encore maintenir l'identité hmong? Y a-t-il des cultures considérées comme PURES, c-a-d des cultures sans aucun trait culturel emprunté à d'autres sociétés ou cultures? Ou bien devrions nous apprendre à devenir plus conscients de la culture comme le résultat d'un long processus d'emprunts dans des contextes de contact situé dans des espaces donnés et des temps donnés? |
